SAMUEL D OUTLAW BLACKSMITH SHOP MEMORIAL MUSEUM JOINS AFRICAN AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS NETWORK

Onancock, VA - The African American Civil Rights Network is pleased to announce the inclusion of the Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Memorial Museum as a Park History Program Partner.
This partnership will enhance the Blacksmith Shop’s educational and interpretive programs,
while promoting the preservation of local history and cultural heritage.
The Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Memorial Museum, located in Onancock on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, is a historic blacksmith shop that showcases the life and work of Samuel D. Outlaw, a prominent local blacksmith. The museum features a collection of historic artifacts, tools and equipment, offering a unique glimpse into the region’s industrial and cultural past.
As a Park History Program Partner, the Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Memorial Museum will collaborate with the African American Civil Rights Network to develop and implement educational programs, exhibits, and events that promote the understanding and appreciation of local history. This partnership will also support the preservation of historic resources and promote cultural tourism in the region.

The Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Memorial Museum is open to the public by
